The coins (medals) for the Elvis Pendant were struck in 1987 by the Royal Canadian Mint for Legendary Coins in very limited numbers under license from Graceland.

Using the most popular design from the Coin Collection, The Royal Canadian Mint struck this medal using pure.999 gold and silver blanks. The Pendant is struck with an image on both sides and can be worn displaying either the Elvis in Hawaii or Graceland design.

This medal is the only one in the entire collection to be struck in pure .999 gold. To produce this medal the Royal Canadian Mint used the same gold blanks that it used to produce its pure.999 Gold Maple Leaf Coins.

This medal was minted in the highest quality possible to ensure that it was absolutely flawless. A clear sealing lacquer was then applied at the Mint to maintain its craftsmanship and beauty for an eternity.

The minted medals were then inserted into a beautiful sterling silver bezel and came packaged in a gold jewelry box.

The detail and accuracy attained by this medal is second to none and will never again be duplicated. From the tiny notes on the gates, right down to the studded Eagle Pattern on his jacket and his striking likeness, even at this reduced size, each minute detail has been painstakingly reproduced by the finest engravers at the Royal Canadian Mint.

The mintage for the pendant was limited to 500 silver pieces and only 50 gold pieces world wide. This medal is available in a bezel as a pendant to be worn or in a capsule to be collected along with the rest of the medals of the Elvis Presley Coin Collection.

These pendants are truly the finest Elvis Pendants ever struck.
